I'm not here to get a DEAL...but I will say the other patreons I contribute to are on time and consistent with their monthly bonus episodes. This isn't at all the norm on patreon in general.

Idk man, seems a little bit optimistic to say that we’re supporting them. Not tryna speculate too much on their financials, but it seems clear to me that TMG has been sustainable for a while. If they don’t directly need our money to facilitate the podcast, then is it wrong to expect something in return? Like, I’d pay money to go to one of Dave Chappelle’s shows, but it’d be real weird to just give him money no strings attached. Extreme example, but still. There should be some reason to support other than potentially misguided sympathy, shouldn’t there? Maybe I have it fucked up.

Why is everyone bitching so hard? Most here pay to support them so they can afford quality content, not for the bonus eps. Don't pretend you don't consume their free content on youtube too. If you're so concerned about bang for your buck, shop at Walmart.

Just so you guys know, I don’t pay for Patreon for the bonus episodes or the early access. It’s to support you guys. I get it. As long as your content quality keeps getting better I’ll keep supporting.

I don't think it's just about this - I don't know how long you've been subbed but they're really late on exclusive episodes (they're supposed to do a bonus each month but only put out... I think 3 in 2019, it's a recurring theme that they keep promising they'll catch up and teasing cool bonus episode ideas that never happen) and all last year whenever that would come up people would comment stuff like "yeah we miss the bonuses but at least we get the regular episodes early, at least they've kept that up!" and now that they've fallen behind on that as well it's become too frustrating not to comment on for a lot of folks. That's understandable, right? Something's not working out well, and it's actually a good thing to see people leaving respectful feedback about their frustrations instead of just unsubbing and ranting publicly on Twitter or Reddit. It means they trust TMG to care enough to read the comments and do something about it. If you're doing good with the status quo that's important feedback for TMG too - but hopefully this context helps you understand why other folks are not.

I can't believe how pissed everyone is about the podcast being late lmao...they've never missed a week (just gotten late a few times), theyre touring in another country for their fans and i mean it's just 5 dollars, people gotta chill

I used to get excited about push notifications from Patreon, now I open them knowing it's 50% likely to just be another apology text post. Maybe you guys should consider hiatusing the paid podcast (or even the whole podcast) until you can prioritize it again. Your fans here get that you've got a lot on your plates between live performing/new music/[all the other undisclosed opportunities you deserve to be getting] but it's time to admit this is frustrating and unsustainable - as much for you as for us, I have to imagine! :(

I first started paying for patreon because of the creatyler bonus episode. I went back and watched all the monthly bone zones and now I'm wondering why I don't just unsubscribe for six months and wait til there are enough bonus episodes to catch up one. To be honest, I’m kinda getting tired of this. I’m fine with just the bonus episodes being late, but it’s frustrating when the weekly eps are late too. Sorta feels like I’m paying for something that’s worse than the free Youtube uploads. Those aren’t ever late. We’ve been giving you guys a lot of leeway on your self-imposed deadlines.
