First video of 2020!
🕑 Added 2020-01-10 18:15:08 +0000 UTCHello my patrons!!
I had way too much fun filming this video. And honestly I hope to make more videos like this. I love that I can share my journey to improving as a performer and a person through this channel, but do it in a way that's fun. So anymore challenge ideas are always appreciated.
I had my first rehearsal with the full band today!! We've currently got piano, guitar, bass and drums, and we'll add some other colors to that later. It was SO disorienting getting used to singing with so much sound around me. But once I relaxed I was able to rely on muscle memory to keep me safe and more open. What a wild learning curve its going to be learning how to perform in this style! I've done it, but never at a level that I've been happy with. So we're staring down a long road but one that's really exciting.
If you're in NYC and +21 come to Pianos bar at 7pm on Sunday! We're trying a few songs out together for the first time, so it should be really intimate and laid back, and we're part of a bigger bill with some amazing performers.
More to come from me soon!

This was so much fun! Funny enough I used to listen to the EP while walking to my previous work. The beat gets me there faster. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ

Honestly, I think your biggest hurdle is to not laugh while performing :D It all sounded great

That was a workout!

I bet if you do this a couple times a week you could make another version of the video in a few months and get 10/10 on every song.

Gaaah. Why do all the cool things happen in bars? Being under 21 sucks. I donโt even plan to drink, and life still finds ways to make being under 21 suck. Edit: that one moment when the person running the Patreon actually responds to your comment ๐ *happy patreon noises*
