Today, I’m excited to share with you the alpha version of https://5e.hexroll.app, a 5E-compatible version of HEXROLL.
Frequently requested for - and inspired by our talented modding community, this modified version includes 5E (SRD-based) adaptations for:
Monsters and encounters
Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, and Wizard NPCs
Equipment items, magic items, and spell components
Treasure types, items, and occurrence probabilities
DC-based dice checks and 5E saving throws
While working on this new model, I had the opportunity to try out some cool additions that will soon be available in the OSR version too:
Indexing and highlighting arch-villains and legendary treasures
Spell components availability in shops and, soon, in wilderness hexes and caves
Dungeon difficulty specified in the conspectus, based on the highest monster Hit Dice/CR
Ability to re-roll shop inventories

Please note that scroll mods are not supported in this version yet.
