HEXROLL 2E - beta build #4 - table of contents, token tags and more

Today's beta update brings a mixed bag of new features, changes and bug fixes.
Let's take a closer look at some of them:
First in the list is the new Table of Contents page. This new page provides a convenient way to quickly navigate the entire generated world. You can access the new page from the updated breadcrumbs header in any of the sandbox pages.
For anyone using VTT, there's now an easy way to choose tokens from the list - a list that will grow bigger in the upcoming updates. I added a tags filter box to the window and when you type in a tag, such as npc, monster, or undead, the list of tokens will be filtered accordingly. This will not only make it easier for you to find the tokens you want, but also quicker to add multiple instances of the same token.
This new functionality is setting the stage for auto-suggesting a list of tags based on the dungeon area you're recreating.
From now on, any newly generated NPC name using the pattern First Name of Place will use only existing location names for Place. This will further tie the sandbox together and add some more narrative opportunities.
Lastly, placing region labels on the map was also improved with a better algorithm that finds the best position for the label.

- Shop NPC descriptions were tidied - more so in newly generated sandboxes
- All NPC descriptions will now include faction association if one exists
- A new crawl-mode panes layout for ultra-wide screens was added
- Repeated rendering of entities is accelerated using a new caching module
Bug Fixes
- VTT player-side map will not refresh when re-rolling a dungeon area
- Re-rolling a full realm is not using its initial generation parameters
- Map jitter can sometimes occur when navigating into dungeon areas
- Map is jumpy when navigating directly to a location using the browser URL
- Quest reward description is broken in some rare cases
- Other minor model, spelling and grammar tweaks & corrections
A new Hexroll Backpack build (0.9.10) reflecting these changes is also ready for download in binary or source form.

Totally understand. I have no idea what is involved at a technology level to make that happen but being a Foundry user and a user of this product, they would benefit immensely with some sort of integration. Some sort of export function in a format for Foundry to understand to import the larger map, and then add the locations and information to the journals and compendiums would be a great start.

Thanks! Kris. No concrete plans at the moment besides exporting content so it can be used elsewhere. I'll need to learn more about what a potential integration with the Foundry could look like before committing and I'll reach out to their team to learn more soon.

I love this tool. I know a lot of effort went into the VTT option but are there any plans for foundry integration?
