This brings vibes of Nier Automata to me in the sense that the track itself is awesome in its own right but the accompanying vocals bring it to a whole nother level. I don't tend to seek out tracks on my own so happy to be discovering so much new stuff to add to my playlist

Also your explanation of Mids made me think of my emo phase (What phase? I'm still in it.) listening to like Blue October and stuff.

I love this song, one of the ones I always turn up when I get it.

absolutely love sophia's theme. the lyrics are super chilling when you take the time to understand the context behind them. Sophia is "The Goddess" of balance, above all else. the lyrics describe a woman who turned abusive after her husband was killed in a war. the daughter prays for salvation, and "The Goddess" commands her to kill her mother and commit suicide via jumping off the cliff by their sea-side home, leaving the empty hearth, their home with nobody left to inhabit it, returning everything to 'balance'.
