Patreon tier update #2

Could do 1 VGM song reaction every 2 months for 5 dollar tier. Idk.

I think what Thegoodtwo said and what Jonathan Hellstrand said are good ideas. No direct requests at 5$, but being able to vote in a poll based on what's suggested in the comments. Maybe a seperate Discord channel acces (or access to discord altogether?) And only name in credits for 5$ and up? That would probably give 1$ acces to just the Patreon feed and early access to video's. Which (i think) is a pretty good deal when supporting someone on Patreon

Not sure if it's been discussed yet, but I've seen some patreons limit access to Discord based on pledge amounts. Maybe bump the Discord access to the $5 mark. The nice thing about Discord is you can have separate channels for whatever access you want, so it's possible to have a general public/$1 pledge channel and not have access to higher tier pledges.

I'm not sure how practial it would be for you, though you've mentioned before that you'd still be taking requests from comments. Perhaps compiling comment requests into a poll and a $5 tier could vote a poll to see which they want to see most? Doing it once every week/month? Throwing ideas at the wall.

That's not bad, i do expect some people to go and then just do paypal one time. Hopefully i can figure it out with the community when i open the discord later tonight

Maybe 1 request every 2 months? Tbh I don't mind subbing $5/month but I probably wouldn't do $10. Either way glad this venture is working out for you

Yeah, $5 is such a middle of the road between$1 and $10 that I can't think of what you could do with it to incentive. At most I'd say have $1 not have name in credits, and move that perk to $5+. Personally, I'll probably just move to the $10 tier

I think that would be reasonable. If you were to go through with removing the $5 tier completely I was planning on keeping my pledge at $5 but with the $1 tier reward.

To be honest can't really think of anything myself that would make it worth it to be keeping the $5 tier. I imagine people who aren't very well off like me will downgrade and those with the money upgrade. But this is a middle ground kind of tier. and I don't think there's a middle ground that would be satisfying
