The music though, that is the one thing that has mantained the high level of quality in the Final Fantasy franchise (well they always look beautiful too).
Not gonna lie, not a huge fan of XV. Lots of lost potential and a narrative mess. Like, if you watch scenes from XV in isolation they are great but it ends up not making a lot of sense as a whole. Part of it is because the story is kinda told in like 10 different pieces of media but even then, it is mediocre (it is also unfortunate that it has to live in the shadow of "Final Fantasy versus XIII" (look it up, long story).

15 is much more action oriented. This song plays when you are fighting an enemy the size of a skyscraper.

The composer for FFXV is Yoko Shimomura, who also is the main composer for the Kingdom Hearts series. Her music really stands out for its use of piano and strings
