Well, let me put it this way: both Final Fantasy and NieR are Square-Enix properties. If Final Fantasy is a hard earned and bittersweet victory, sacrifices made along the way but generally hopeful about the future. NieR is about the realization that your fight was meaningless from the start and brought despair onto you and everyone else with just a tiny little ray of hope at the end, maybe. PS. To be fair, whoever made the videos took the music and superimposed on random-ish game footage. Kaine salvation doesn't actually play during that fight, but that moment is an important part of the story and Kaine's plot. You've said it already, but playing Nier (Replicant and Automata) is an experience. I'm glad you're thinking of trying it out.
