Comic Cover Sketches
🕑 Added 2024-07-03 22:26:45 +0000 UTCHey everyone, just wanted to share some ideas I had for the comic covers I'm working on. I'm thinking of naming the Gantu comic "Gantu's Little Admirers" (but I'm not totally sold on it yet), and for the Oscar's comic, I'm considering the title "Lying in Wait." Also, I'm working on a special bonus comic called "Royal Punishment."
"Gantu's Little Admirers" is about two crew members who work for Gantu. They come across a secret stash of private content that's not meant for public knowledge. Unfortunately, Gantu catches them looking at it and offers to show them the real thing in person rather than just on a screen.
"Lying in Wait" is about Oscar doing a stakeout near a location he learned would be nearby. His teammate, Polar, is bored and thinks they should do something or take a break at least. Oscar doesn't want to and makes it clear he won't move. Polar, being cheeky, gets an idea and decides to indulge in some fun while they wait.
"Royal Punishment" will be about a Koopa Troopa who is in a bit of trouble with the big Koopa king himself. I'm sure they will work things out in a way that's not too harsh.

Every comic summaries had me ready to read them whenever they're done. I'm looking forward seeing the Gantu comic the most I like to see your style on the little dude involved with the comic! Amazing preview BTW! 10/10

These summaries have me completely sold on the ideas for each of them! The covers are showing great promise, especially on how expressive the characters are (seriously, Polar's cocky grin is way too good and do I spy sock garters? OK I see you π) also it's so fun how the two Koopa guards have complementary hair! Maybe Gantu's comic could be titled "Gantu's Little Fan Club" or something in that vein? I really like how you referenced the size difference between them so I would totally encourage you to keep that angle!
