Did you celebrate the full moon on Friday??
I’d like to tell you about a dream I had recently.
It’s common for me to taste weird stuff in my mouth in my dreams (which I am now realizing might be because I sleep with my mouth open?? lol) and in this dream I started hacking up something in my throat. I went to the bathroom and try to puke it out, but black blood starts pouring out. It freaks me out, and I wake up.
Sooo I have vomit dreams pretty frequently. Vomiting in dreams usually means there’s something that you need to purge from your system. And if blood is black, it means it’s old and has been there for awhile. I interpreted this dream as my guides letting me know that I have been holding onto something harmful for awhile and I need to let it the fuck go.
Since having that dream, I have been making more of an effort to be present. My brain likes to bring up the most random, most mortifying experiences of my past and throw off my day. But not since that dream.
HEY REMEMBER THAT SHITTY THING YOU DID IN HIGH SCHOOL-- WHAP not fixating on that.
HEY REMEMBER HOW EMBARRASSING YOU WERE IN COLLEGE–BLAP it doesn’t matter.
The past only exists in our minds.
This is not to say that trauma does not have a real, lasting effect on our present.
But that if it’s something that is taking up space in your head and is not helpful, then let it go.
What do you need to purge from your system?
