TMS – Version 0.4.3b delays
🕑 Added 2021-11-29 04:20:46 +0000 UTCSorry everyone but it looks like we're going to need a bit more time to wrap up 0.4.3b.
The writing has been on the wall for a while for all the reasons we already discussed but we were hoping we could pull off a bit of crunch time magic.
We did, but not quite as much as we needed to.
The good news is that as far as renders go we're pretty much done; I am going to need about 30 more renders to wrap up, I should be able to finish most of them between now and the first of December.
The real problem is the animations, we're going to need as many as 14 and there is still a lot of work to do there. Just to make things more complicated I will be traveling for most of the first third of December (Dealing with a perfect storm of family events. Anyone with relatives in both Europe and the US can probably empathize. Travel from the EU only reopened this month so there is like a 2 years backlog of weddings, christenings and such that everyone is rushing to get done before some other nonsense come up)
Lion will keep working on the animations while I am gallivanting and hopefully by the time I am back all that will be left to do is stitch everything to the code, run a few tests and publish.
I am going to play it safe and set the new release date for the 20 of December.
I honestly hate having to write updates of this kind and we're been taking a numbers of measures to ensure that I won't have to write quite as many in the future but, for the time being, I can only thank everyone for their continued patience

We're going to post a proper update either later tonight or tomorrow but for the most yes, we're still on track

Does the plan to release December 20 still look on track?

Delays are delays. Things happen. At least you're in good condition, everything else is secondary. PS: Damn great render, btw. Can't wait to see more from these two.

Life happens, I'm just glad you're upfront about it.

No problem.
