Using the reference provided, practice the various strategies I've outlined in the lesson.

i love this idea of adding details from the silhouettes inwards. it lines up the thinking of the big masses with breaking them down to small forms. how would you approach adding highlights in this way?

I have never looked at one Steve’s pieces as a study before this lesson. Dude the more I look at the painting the more I am amazed at the sensitive approach to light all over the figure. I was particularly struck by the light on the front of the bandana. Thanks for all the training Steve, studying art is a long road, but I am thoroughly enjoying the walk!
