Sexticuffs Combat Overhaul
🕑 Added 2017-06-13 21:20:34 +0000 UTC I've pruned a lot of abilities, and changed how abilities work. You may have to delete and re-make your character. Some major changes:
- You can have 5 abilities + attack now. Down from 8
- All abilities are available to all affinities now
- Mana has been split into offensive, defensive and support.
- At the start of each turn, you get to pick 3 mana gems from a list of 5.
- Your affinity grants you an extra gem of that affinities color at the start of each turn.
- Level is now purely based on how many abilities you have unlocked. It does not affect combat, only how much exp you need to get another ability.
- Added scrolling combat text.
- Added AI chat for breaker demons.
- Added charged attacks (breaker demon has an example of one)
- Started on groundwork for challenges
- Clothes now all cost 50D
- Player max HP and armor is now 20. Down from 25.
What's next:
- Adventures
- More fun abilities
- Ability to edit your character after creation (cyberbody)
