VibHub in action.
🕑 Added 2018-01-12 02:34:01 +0000 UTC So on the survey I put a question if players would try an internet enabled sex toy. The vast majority answered Yes or Maybe. So I got to work. This here's VibHub, a DIY controller based on Raspberry Pi which lets you turn almost any USB powered sex toy into an internet enabled one. The server and device code are both open source, and the device can be controlled from anywhere you have wifi coverage (including phone data hotspots).
In this demo video I've made a BARE plugin that causes a bullet to vibrate when you are the victim of a groin attack. The intensity and duration of the vibration is affected by how much damage the attack dealt to your HP, so it's a lot more powerful for unarmored groin hits.
The build process is a little complex for complete beginners, but anyone who has minimal knowledge around microcomputing and linux should have a blast piecing it together for under $50.
Currently I'm looking for people willing to assemble their own kits, and based on feedback I might be able to take this into an actual product. I've got no experience with product development currently tho, so I can't make any promises.
Anyways, if you wanna take a look at the API or build instructions, head on over to the github project today!
