Right?!

Oh same, I've always been a Book Collector anyway, but now that I've seen how internet media can just... disappear (websites break! domain names get deactivated! Accounts get deleted!) over the last 20 years, I am EXTRA determined to get physical copies of these things when they're available.

Oh yes, I will most definitely be sharing progress on my first costuming project, don't worry ;) Haha and I forgot about the Amish and Mennonite populations! I don't think we have them on the west coast?

Erika Moen

Thank you so much for sharing it with your friends!

It sounds like a good week. And ten years? I refuse to believe it!

I have been clawing onto my horse-and-buggy media like I hoard my ancient-dinosaur-physical media like a drowning man. Okay, so that analogy stinks, but as long as us horse-and-buggy types are around, we will not only consume, but also provide word-of-mouth promotion to our friends and networks. It's not as sustainable as it once was, but sometimes it's enough.

"Keep on truckin' ". Our counterculture ancestors knew the score. 🫂 big hugs and congrats on 40!!

Oh no! breakups are so rough, I'm so glad they've got you two to help them out. And yay for real life friends! Also I'm not-so-sneakily hoping we get to see your costuming efforts cuz I bet they're gonna be great! I'm still a fan of Tig being silly/cute/herself pics and glad you had such a great interview! Connecting with folks is so wonderful. Gasp! Stealth Erika mode activate! Yay Lucy interviews and sympathies ongoing life stuff is still running you down. Also YAAYYY COOKING! Adne even better *it tasted good!* Go you! THat indeed deserves so many exclamation points! I hate those days where I just feel like a sad lump. Especially when going out doesn't fix it, just postpones the sad-lumpiness. Hurray lamb tho, yum! Yay bus friend! It's hard changing routines, but you got this! I too adore the horse and buggy method. Funnily enough the area I live in has a large Mennonite population so I see many a horse and buggy when I go out. They still work and they may be niche now they're still trotting along like you said. Thank you for doing this for so long, they really do always make me laugh, cry, and think in the best possible ways.

Looking forward to the next however-many-years you keep producing OJST. And all the other content. I do keep recommending it to friends and acquaintances alike, so hopefully it's still occasionally getting fresh traffic. But I know what you mean - evolve or die feels like the mantra of working with the internet.
