December Round-Up
🕑 Added 2024-01-06 22:26:49 +0000 UTCOk, so I have news that is exciting for me: Patreon finally enabled annual subscriptions on my account! Yup! Buy a year and save 16%! For instance, a year of the (mostly locked, private) Comics Tier is just $50.40 instead of $60 now! I've definitely got more than another year's worth of projects and comics and essays and bullshit to share here and I've really been enjoying the sweet, creative vibe in the "community chat" thing with you guys. So, if you're planning on sticking around through 2024, well, hey, why not save some bucks? (16% worth of bucks!)
2023 in Review
Every December I like to sit down to take stock of the year, write my reflections on it, and look forward to the new year. Unfortunately, I ran out of time so instead I farted out this post instead.
🔒 Letters From Space Camp: Day Two - Full Chapter 🔒 Patrons Only
Having finished page two of this chapter, I realized it would probably facilitate the reading experience if I actually compiled all the pages as I completed them into one single post, instead of doing that at the very end like I normally do. So! This is the one-stop-shop for this currently updating chapter of my memoir about going through a mental hospital program.
When no one is around I...
My next collage in the What She Knows series by Lucy Bellwood, this shiny gold piece answers the prompt "When no one is around I..."
The Cannibal Club in The Greatest Treasure
David D. Levine and I teamed up to make this vintage Twinkies parody comic starring the character of his brand new sci-fi novel, The Kuiper Belt Job! I'm especially pleased with this one on account of Matt's 1970s comic book-style coloring.
🔒 "Ew, she looks so old" (ESSAY) 🔒 Patrons Only
Sometimes you read a single panel cartoon by Sophie Lucido Johnson that was rejected by The New Yorker and it just completely hits you in the heart so hard that you have to write a whole freakin' essay about turning 40, being estranged from your mother, and carving out a different path for yourself. You know how we all do that from time to time.
Boot Repair Comic
After replacing my boot zipper by hand the month before, I really wanted to share this knowledge with everyone and decided to make a simple six panel instructional comic and then I was like "Let's make this take one million times longer by illustrating it with collage'd paper and fabric" I now have two (2) whole not-quite-finished physical panels to show for it! Panel 1: If the Shoe Fits and Panel 2: You Will Need

Thank you so much to everyone who's patronizing me! Thank you to the patrons who financially support me here- you are the reason why I can make and share all my cool shit on the internet- and thank you to the free patrons who are just keeping up with the public posts. I appreciate your emotional support and I appreciate you even more when you share your favorite posts on the corners of the internet where you hang out. If you're the re-sharing kind of person, I've got some posts on Bluesky, Twitter, and Tumblr ready to go!
Alright, that's it. That's 2023 done.
