Dev #Who cares anymore?...
🕑 Added 2019-07-15 04:41:52 +0000 UTCHey still sick, but getting better. But you'll be pleased to know I am currently working on the game, and have been for the last few days. This month main goal is to finish the rework. Also hopefully get chapter 2 out there, but the sickness has stolen a lot of my time so I am feeling the time crunch.
Also I thought I will talk about the rework. Last month I released stage 1 of the rework, not sure how many stages there will be but stage 2 needs to be completed before chapter 2 can come out.
Stage 1 was the item rework. New equipment and basic items. Stage 2 will be more advance items, the new classes, skills and stages. Also a rebalance of chapter 1. Later stages will just be adding minor things along with updates of chapter 2.
Also I thought I could talk about how skills will work in the rework. As you might know, skills in my game are broken into Racial, Fighting and Magic.
Racial skills are the only skills that can be learnt by levelling up. The new racial skill system means that every race will share the same racial skills, so some enemies may have the same skills as you or one of your companions if they are the same race.
There will be unique racial skills too, only for those certain characters. Lily's are all based around support, since that is her nature as a loving caring person.
The new fighting skills will now be all based on trainers like Ferrum, and the weapon type. Like if two companions use spears, they can learn from the same trainer. There will be unique skills for certain companions from special trainer.
There will be either three or four tiers of spells in the game. Which I will go into maybe another dev once I finish working it all out.
Spells and fighting skills will cost money to unlock, but also like Racial skills will require a certain level to unlock.
At the moment of writing this, I am finishing off Lily's trainer skills. Hope you enjoying the coming update.
