Current Tier Structure (to change or not to change?)

In the meantime, I wanted to get your thoughts on the current tier system in place. Right now we have tiers 1-5, each with a few special perks as a special thank you.
In order to add new levels in between the existing ones, I have considered changing the naming system from it's current 1-5 to a system which names the levels based on the US dollar amount of the tier. For example, Level 1 would remain Level 1, but Level 2 would become Level 5, and Level 3 would become Level 10, etc. Does this make sense, or would it be confusing? I wanted to know what you guys think before changing anything around. None of the perks for these existing tiers would change. It would just be to allow room for additional tiers to be added in between existing levels.
L1 = L1
L2 = L5
L3 = L10
L4 (legacy) = L15
L4 (new) = L25
L5 = L48

And regarding the names, it should not be a problem at all! As long as bigger # = more $€¥¢£

My mindset on pledging money on these kinds of sites. I typically give a lot of projects $5 or $10. But can't really throw down $20 to $25. Most I've done was $20. But when I give $20 it usually ends up being canceled or cut to <$5 after a month or two. When someone makes something that I enjoy, or plan to enjoy in the future, I put down a good $5 or so and let it ride (once I end up with like a $100/month invoice from patreon or subStar I wind up actually looking at what I'm paying for lol 😂 and adjust accordingly. So, in my opinion, a $5 & $10 option is a sweet spot; $10 often gives the newest release OR cheat codes OR save files, etc. $5 gives the new version without extras. >$10 ($15, $25, $1million) name in credits (username or whatever) and other unique stuff. Just don't go nuts with extra stuff or it may take away from the game progress! 😉
