Aaaand, the rewriting is complete! Well, that was quite something...
The most important thing first: The story hasn't changed, the progression hasn't changed, the encounters haven't changed. So, there is no real need to replay it all.
Let me talk about what I did: Essentially, I went over the ENTIRE game and sought out three things like an angry Terminator: Torture, trauma, and suicide. Let's have a closer look.
Torture: This crap is way, WAY too serious to be thrown around just like that. As such, with the exception of Hell where it fits in perfectly, all instances and mentions of it have been dialed back
Trauma: As I simply don't enjoy exploring serious topics like this, everything regarding it/related to it has been rewritten, dialed back, or removed
Suicide: No clue why I even included that in the first place. All instances/mentions/implications of it have been removed
While the entire script has been subject to this 'purge', for your convenience, here are all specific scenes affected:
Shukka: Both her scenes have been dialed back a bit
Sextem: Her introduction has been reigned in a little
The Mahart: Getting eaten by her has been dialed back in brutality, and the recovery scene has also been reigned in
Annapurna: Another vore scene where things got dialed back a little
The succubi: Unsurprisingly, their backstory got dialed back a little. Basically, from systematic torture to systematic abuse, the overall experience over 200 years still being torture though. Also, no more suicides there. To reflect that, all succubi encounters in the Casino have been rewritten slightly
The torture fields: Not much has changed here as this is an instance where it is absolutely justified. I only rewrote Sary's recollection of being inside the pod a bit. Also, the victims now simply died immediately after they were freed
Marissa: I didn't change much about her actually, I only pivoted her away a bit from torture towards less extreme things
Cili: Yeah, I ended up agreeing... She has to die. But, the aftermath and the effects the scene has on the player have been reigned in
Escutchéa: I massively dialed back her act
Hell: Yeaaaaah...... That's why I re-released the beta version, quite a lot has changed there. Sweety tier and above, make sure to check out the beta post for more info! However, it'll be a short beta period as I don't think it's even possible that new bugs appeared with me only having changed the script
MC's dream: So far, it has been to leave the world a better place. Maybe it's just me, but to me this implies that the world is, in fact, not a good one. I changed it to 'this wonderful world has some issues, issues I want to solve'. It's almost the same, but I feel like it drives home the point that this world is, in fact, a GOOD one
I probably missed something, but that should cover most of it. Overall, I'm really happy with this. Now, the word feels right again... A wonderful, beautiful world with some issues we want to solve.
Also, don't worry, I was working on the next update in parallel to the rewrite so we lost no progress at all.

Must admit, kind of disappointed that it's not going to be as dark anymore. It made the game feel unique. It also now sounds like the MC doesn't care about the people he meets when they are hurt or killed. But don't get me wrong, I will still be playing this game as i really like the characters.
