Extra Credit
“And that’s all for today. Class dismissed”
Damien groaned as he got up from his seat and stuck his near empty notebooks into his backpack. College had been a huge high to start, but now that he had to get work finished by deadlines, revise for finals and just pass some stuff he didn’t even care about it was turning into more of a nightmare than a dream time away from home. The brown wolf's fur was a mess from late nights of work on every elective before the end of the semester, stress and lack of sleep taking their toll on his personal hygiene.
This class was one of the ones he’d lost interest in almost the moment it had started. “Philosophy 101” a basic humanities course that was part of getting the credits he needed to pass the year. He’d selected it thinking it would be a basic introductory course like so many others, but the complexity of some of the discussions had gotten beyond him almost from the first day. Now he was stuck having to decipher nonsense from some old Greek dudes who were probably too high on hemp to realize men weren’t chickens. Or something.
It was led by a surprisingly young professor. Apparently he’d come from abroad to teach at the college and was well respected where he’d come from. Damien didn’t really get the appeal, even if the accent was a bit fun and he dressed himself well enough. On a good day, Damien might have called him “smartly dressed” but that was the best compliment he could come up with.
“Oh, remember to check your emails after class today” Damien heard his teacher say before he left “I’ll be checking your grades to see whether you need extra credit before the finals.”
The wolf grimaced. He could already tell he was going to be one of the students that needed the extra help. Each of his assignments so far had been borderline passes or fails, and despite his best efforts he’d not been able to improve on each one.
Maybe he should just talk to his professor now… get it over with.
He walked towards the front of the class, where the wolf was stacking up a few of the remaining handouts from today's class and wiping off the blackboard.
“Hey, Mr Wuffster”
He looked around Damien and gave a small smile “Come on Damien, I told you from the start it was ok to call me Jimmy.”
The brown wolf chuckled and looked down at the floor, a little bit of nervousness creeping in “Heh… yeah I guess you did”
“What’s up?”
Damien looked back up and breathed out, steeling himself as best he could.
“I’m pretty sure I’m gonna need extra credit to pass right?
The professor's face fell, a thoughtful expression taking form on his muzzle as he walked back towards the lectern at the front “Damien…”
“Look, I just want to know alright? Waiting for the email isn’t really necessary if you already know, right?”
The wolf sighed and shook his head “I suppose not. Yes Damien, you’re going to need some extra credit. You’ve been behind the curve all term”
Damien could only sigh and look back towards the door “Great…”
Jimmy shook his head “You’re not that far off though. I’m guessing this isn’t exactly your subject of choice huh?”
“Nah, I had to do this to reach my credits for the year. Not even sure I’d be able to pass an extra credit assignment.”
His professor chuckled “Well not with that attitude!” he walked over to Damien and put his hand on his shoulder.
“Yeah but…” Damien stuttered as he looked into the wolf's eyes. There was a mischievousness behind them, a little smirk on his muzzle that made the student cock his head instinctively.
“What I have in mind isn’t an assignment. Well, not your normal kind anyway…”
Damien immediately took a step back “Look, I’m not gonna do anything like… that.” he said defensively “I’m not that desperate”
Jimmy just chuckled again “Oh come on, I’m not coming on to you kid. I have more sense than that” he walked back towards him “This is a little favor, something that’ll get you your extra credit and help me out tomorrow evening”
Damien could only raise an eyebrow, curiosity now piqued “Ok… what do I have to do?”
“Babysit”
“What?”
The professor laughed “That’s right, babysit. You know, take care of an animal that can’t take care of itself. Play with toys, change diapers, feed them…”
Damien was completely taken aback. How on earth was this extra credit for a Philosophy class?
“I… I guess I could do that?”
Jimmy picked up his bag from under his desk and started walking out the door “Great, meet me after the final lesson of the day tomorrow. I’ll be in my office at seven with what you need”
Damien nodded “I… ok sir”
Jimmy closed the door behind him “It’s Jimmy kid. Make sure you remember that tomorrow”
As his professor left the room, Damien was left with a strange sense of anticipation. Sure, the idea of having to babysit was scary, but it beat doing another written assignment. He adjusted his bag on his back and made his way back to his dorm, all the while wondering what tomorrow would hold.

Approaching the door to his professor's office, Damien gulped and knocked three times. The heavy door opened slowly shortly afterwards, the wolf's face beaming down at him.
“Good to see you,” Jimmy said, moving past his student with his bag and heading towards the parking lot “Take this, follow me”
Damien took his teacher's bag and obeyed, keeping an eye out for friends. While the campus was quiet at this time of night, he didn’t really want to be seen hanging out with his philosophy lecturer.
“Are… we going somewhere?
Jimmy chuckled “You think you’re babysitting on campus?” Damien hung his head and blushed at the question “No, you’re not. We’re heading back to my place”
The two wolves walked down the streets outside, Damien just about keeping pace until they arrived at a small bungalow. Jimmy walked up the drive and opened the door, letting his student go in first and set his bag down.
“Wait here, I’ll sort a few things out”.
As Jimmy entered a room at the end of the hallway, Damien breathed out and tried to relax himself. He’d been nervous the whole way over and was only now realizing how tense he’d been. He looked around the corridor, taking in Jimmy’s hallway. There was a lingering scent in the air he couldn’t quite place, one that was familiar but not common. There weren’t many pictures lining the walls, nor was there much indication that a child lived here.
“Damien! Come here”
The wolf jumped and headed towards the end of the hall, reaching the door that Jimmy had gone through and heading into it.
He stopped dead as soon as he got through the entrance.
He was in a nursery, but not just any nursery. Every piece of furniture was sized up, the most obvious feature being a crib that stood tall against the furthest wall at the back. A wardrobe sat next to it, currently open and showing off a variety of huge babyish outfits that any toddler would suit down to the ground.
“Like it?”
Damien’s muzzle dropped open as he gazed at his professor. The wolf was currently lying down on a huge oversized changing table. Diapers were stacked up under it, bottles of baby powder and a box of wipes were neatly kept underneath them in their own shelves. And clearly all of them would be needed for Jimmy, who was in nothing but a soaked diaper lying back on the table.
“Wh… what the hell?” Damien stuttered
“Language, you shouldn’t cuss in front of a baby should you?”
Damien blinked “You’re not a baby!”
Jimmy giggled “Sure, ignore the crib, diaper and baby clothes…” he put his hands behind his head and squirmed a little in place “I’m definitely a grown-up”
Damien was barely able to speak. He stood stock still and tried to get his bearings on what had just become a very different proposition.
“You.. want me to babysit… you?”
“Just worked that out huh?” Jimmy prodded the front of the diaper “I guess this is why you need extra credit”
Damien’s mind shot back to why he was here. His first thought had been to run, to leave his professor in his soaked diaper on the table and go back home. He wasn’t that far from the university campus either.
But the reminder of the extra credit made him reconsider. The image of flunking out of university was hardly appealing either.
“You know, I could start bawling if it helps?” Jimmy put his hands in fists up to his eyes and twisted “I’ve been up here for…”
“Just… Ok, what do I have to do?”
Jimmy sighed “Babysit. You know, take care of a baby”
“Yeah but like… you’re not a baby? How the he… heck am I supposed to carry you? Or…”
Jimmy groaned “Right now, I need a diaper change. Maybe start with that?”
Damien moved towards the table and looked down at his professor's nearly naked body. The diaper had started to pull away from his thighs from use, the front yellowed from the soaking the wolf had clearly given it before the two of them had arrived at the house.
“Ok… just stay still”
“No promises,” Jimmy chuckled.
Damien pulled at the first of four tapes, starting to undo it and ripping it free of its mooring. This felt so weird to do to the student, and certainly not something he’d ever expected to be doing when in the classroom with this guy. Eventually he got them all undone and pulled the soaked diaper out from under the wolf.
“Good, make sure to wipe down properly and get some powder on” the wolf instructed, pulling his legs further apart.
Damien brought up the open pack of wipes and powder that were at the front of the stacks and started to clean up. The matted fur of the wolf was eventually nice and clean, leaving him free to start powdering him down.
“You’re not bad at this kid” Jimmy looked back up at the ceiling “I’ll pop my butt up so you get the diaper under me”
Watching, still somewhat dumbfounded, as Jimmy pulled his rear into the air, Damien looked down at the diapers on the shelves. There were a selection of different kinds, some with different designs.
“Which ones do I use?” he asked, trying not to look at his professors' nethers longer than he had to.
“Not the ones with moons and stars. Unless you want me to me to go to bed stinky in my night diapers”
Damien’s eyes went wide as he stood back up straight with a thinner diaper, covered in safari prints “Wait… stinky?”
“Maybe” Jimmy winked. “Not up to me. Babies don’t know when they need to…”
“I get it, I get it” Damien pushed the diaper under him “Just… please don’t”
Jimmy put his thumb in his mouth and closed his eyes “Buh I’m just a wittle baby…”
Damien didn’t hesitate in getting the new diaper taped on. At this rate he was concerned his professor wasn’t going to be able to keep himself dry for the whole change.
“There, done.”
Jimmy sat up, thumb still in his maw, and looked down at his students handiwork “Not bad, not bad” he grinned “I wanna go watch cartoons now”
“O…k?”
The gray wolf pushed himself off the table and started waddling towards the door, taking his thumb out of his mouth and leaning against the frame “Gonna keep an eye on the baby or just let him wander off?”
Damien felt his mouth open and shut without making any noise.
“Extra credit isn’t free” Jimmy walked through the door “I’m gonna get in sooooo much trouble…”
“Wait!”
As Jimmy walked towards his lounge, Damien pursued and caught up to him, holding his arms out wide to stop him going any further.
“Look… this is a bit of a shock!”
Jimmy sighed “I wanna watch cartoons now”
Damien stuttered “I… fine!” he let his hands fall to his side “Where’s your lounge?”
His professor just walked past him, diaper crinkling loudly the whole way, before turning into a room two doors down.
“Oh for…” Damien could only growl in frustration, catching up to him as he sat down in front of his TV.
“I wanna watch car…”
“I KNOW!” Damien shouted “Just… what the heck is… this?!”
Jimmy shrugged “I just wanna be a baby” he shuffled back and forth “You want a passing grade”
Damien went to respond but again found his words stuck in his throat, his hand going up but his muzzle freezing shut. Rather than continue to complain he picked up the remote and started to flick through TV channels until he reached the cartoons.
“Yay!” The gray wolf's demeanor changed almost immediately, a big smile coming to his muzzle as he crossed his legs and stared at the TV.
Damien lay back and considered his options. Was this really going to be so hard? If all Jimmy wanted to do was watch cartoons and wear diapers, it’s not like he was that different to any other kid you’d babysit.
“Do you want a drink… kiddo?” Damien forced a smile.
Jimmy nodded “Uh huh! Got juice in the fridge!”
“You’re not gonna do anything while I’m out of the room?”
“Nuh-uh”
Damien didn’t trust that at all, but elected to just deal with the request as best he could. He made his way to the open door of the kitchen and looked inside. He was half expecting there to be an oversized high-chair or something, but it was just a nice, clean kitchen diner.
“What have I got myself into…” he muttered to himself as he opened the large fridge.
His mouth dropped again as he stared inside. There were rows of baby bottles filled with juice like six packs of beer, all decorated in babyish designs exactly like his professor's diapers. While the rest was typical of a normal fridge they stood out like a sore thumb. Damien grabbed one quickly and shut the door, his back going straight and his eyes staying wide as he processed another shock.
“This is so weird…”
He rushed back to the lounge expecting Jimmy to have done something, anything, to make his life harder tonight. Instead he found the wolf staring intently at the cartoons, thumb still in his mouth and legs spread wide and forward.
“Right, got your bottle sir…”
“Jimmy”
“Huh?”
Jimmy looked up as Damien crouched down with his drink “I’m not Sir. I’m Jimmy.”
Damien sighed and just held the bottle out in front of him “Just… take the bottle Jimmy”
He took it in his hand and looked at it, shaking it a little before looking back up the still bemused student “I’m a baby”
The audible groan that came from Damiens muzzle was met with a disgruntled look “I’m a baby. I can’t feed myself”
“Oh for… What do you want me to do?! Lie you on my lap and…” Damien didn’t even finish the sentence. He realized half way through that was exactly what he’d have to do.
“Fine” Damien sat down and made a space on his lap for Jimmy to rest it on “Lie here then”
Jimmy handed the bottle back and got comfortable, stretching his legs out and looking up at his student “Ready”
Damien resisted the urge to shove the nipple hard into his mouth and instead let it hang there so Jimmy could take it himself. The wolf slowly started to suckle, the juice inside draining as he took gulp after gulp of the cold liquid. His eyes closed as he relaxed, seemingly oblivious to Damien trying to adjust the bottle as best he could for his own comfort.
There was, however, a degree of acceptance starting to come over the younger wolf. This was weird, sure, but it wasn’t exactly difficult. The worst part had already gone by, changing his professor's diaper would probably be something that would stick with him for a while. But at least he wasn’t going to have to do that again.
“Mmmppphhh….”
“You ok?”
Damien tried to move the bottle out of Jimmy’s muzzle but found the wolf was biting down hard.
“Hnnng….”
“No…”
Damien could only watch with horror as the diaper round the wolf's waist started to expand, the front swelling a little from another wetting.
“Jimmy don’t you dare! I don’t want to have to…”
There was no mistaking what was happening with the noises coming from his professor's rear. The back of Jimmy’s diaper pushed outwards as the contents of his tummy were voided into them. The diaper slipped down his waist a little as the weight that was added to it started to make it more and more obvious what task awaited Damien next.
“I can’t believe you’re… you’re pooping yourself.”
Jimmy didn’t respond, instead as the final grunts emerged from his muzzle, he instead simply continued to suckle on the remainder of the bottle. The smell started to waft its way to Damiens nose, his face curling up.
“Oh god… What do you eat?!”
The wolf continued to just keep his eyes closed until the bottle was emptied. As Damien removed it from his muzzle he let Jimmy’s head fall to the floor. Finally able to see the results of the feeding in full, he sighed and started walking towards the bedroom.
“Stay there. I’m getting you a new diaper”
Jimmy just shifted in place, squishing his seat around and popping his thumb back in his mouth.
“You’ve already passed kid”
Damien looked back “Huh?”
“You can head home if you want. I’ll give ya the credit”
The wolf felt his heart leap. He’d done it! And yet…
“I’m not leaving you in a messy diaper Jimmy. What sort of babysitter would do that?”
For the first time that night, the two of them chuckled together.
