I hope those who have to read through the submissions to judge can at least appreciate all the depth, subtext, and symbolism you weave into the story. As a reader, ILY is a comic that I may reread many times, but I’ll always gain new insight when I go back. You deserve the nomination and know that to many of us, you’re our winner because you have given us a story we’ve enjoyed and gone crazy analyzing over for so many years. I can’t believe it moved to Originals in 2017! At the end of the day, I hope you can feel proud of the work you’ve done and are happy creating it. You’ve been through a lot as a person and artist/writer, but your quality has only improved. And so many of us are thankful we can go on this journey with you.
