Spud Awards 2021 Nominations (Best Thumbnail + Best Moment)
🕑 Added 2022-01-02 10:34:38 +0000 UTC2021 was a great year of content on Spudgun Official, and like last year, I want to have a great poll to find the community's favourite content in a variety of categories!
Most of the categories are self-evident but there are two crucial areas where you can help out and have some fun, the same as last year. I'd like you to NOMINATE potential options in two categories: Best Thumbnails, and Best Moments.
Take a moment to look through the thumbnails and videos of 2021 https://www.youtube.com/c/SpudgunOfficial/videos - look at the thumbnails that stand out to you, think back to the funniest, craziest moments in the series and the stories, and come up with one, two, fifteen, ideas, as many as you want. I will put them in the poll for everyone (including you, of course) to vote on in a short while.
I will use a little of my own discretion if necessary, such as my own personal favourite thumbnails if nobody else nominated them. Enjoy!

The best thumbnail is Suffering from Success (Part 13) but the best moment is definitely either the Destruction of the Hugbox in HtA series or the 1v8

Mad War (Poland-Lithuania Part 11) and The Meme River GRAND FINALE for best Thumbnail Best Moment for me was Italy not getting Istria in the Hungary series
Also, A Successful Italy Campaign was nice and cozy.

1v8 is the best one in my humble opinion :)
I honestly like the American disaster wars (both the recent one and the actual titled one) and the surprise attack of 88’. Best thumbnail is the hugbox since I have now seen it used as emojis in other servers

There were a lot of good thumbnails this year, but I still think The Desynchronization of Keystone is my favorite. As far as my favorite moment goes, the peace deal at the end of the War of Ultra Despair, seeing them completely fail to dismember Hungary after all of that brutal fighting. Also the funni nation failing to secure Istria.
the thumbnail for the Celtic restoration look the nicest to me, but I struggle to explain clearly why. Boltun's victory in the Comedy of errors was a nice moment, fighting off a major coalition all alone

For me it's The Little Bavaria That Could and 1v8
I thought the hugbox reckoning thumbnail was pretty good, that and the comedy of errors.
