The Laser Rifle is complete!!!!
🕑 Added 2025-12-20 15:23:31 +0000 UTCHELLO EVERYONE!!!! Today I have for you!? the Fallout Laser Rifle!!!! And man, this one was awesome!!!! to start off, the test print went better than I was expecting! Though I did run into a few issues, and it has been an issue I have had with other high part count models, and that is the tolerances being too tight, but at the same time, not tight enough!!! It’s a strange one hahaha, but I think I have a solution for it that I’ll work on over New Year’s :D As for how the model turned out?!?! IT’S SO FREAKING COOL!!!!! it was so much fun building the cooling system, installing the laser emitter, running the wiring to the particle accelerators, and building the main emitter at the front!!! It was so cool XD
And on top of that, the mag opening system! Pop the lock back, pull the latch down, and the mag comes out! Install a new mag! slap that latch up, and the lock auto engages :D so much fun :D
The model also has LED lighting at the front end of the model, controlled by the trigger :D
this one has been a blast to build, and I can’t wait to see your prints of it! also wanted to say thank you! its thanks to you guys that I can make this insanity!!! :D thank you so much :D

as for up next?? Normally, I would start the poll in the next day or two, but I’m going to put a pause on that till the first week of jan. :D There is a bunch of background updates I have needed to do to the Discord, as well as my workflow, so I’m gonna tackle those over the next few weeks. woohoo :D

That looks fantastic! Loving the way you designed the power cell release mechanism. This will defo be an upgrade from my own laser rifle that doesn't have any electronics.
