• Solid sub for a 2-osc bass
• Using Ableton Multiband Dynamics for sub boost + control
• Hive 2 triangle bass

Regarding make the bass of a track work well in a club, is it possible to hear this in a small studio setup to fine tune it? For example by adding a subwoofer to a normal nearfield monitor setup?

great video. thank you! i like your point about hearing things in the club and letting it inform your production. after a night out, i always find that i want to simplify and strip a track to it's bare essentials and make those sound as good as possible

Excellent!

Good idea actually!! Can think of three/four basses right off the bat. Adding to my ideas list!

Do you think you could make a video on classic jungle bass lines using vital since it’s free?
Janne Hatula
I think that's a bit closer to simple sawtooth, but yeah I can hear the similarity!
