Operator wubs! [Ableton video]
🕑 Added 2023-08-20 15:10:37 +0000 UTCI promised recently to show how I created the Operator basses in the recent project I posted, so here we go…get all wubsy with it!
If anyone says stock DAW tools aren't powerful these days, I'm going to slap them around with a very large trout.
More bass stuff in the near horizon; I just discovered something really cool and new I want to share next month.
So keep your eyes locked on the page....Uncle Fanu aka Lil Wubsy's got you covered with bass!

This was cool. I don't use the stock Live tools as much as they deserve. Really pays to give them time and learn. Ive seen/heard some of the crazy sound design Current Value has done with Operator too. People with experience in synthesis seems to be able to make just about any sound they want.

oh damn! Square LFO on top of the Repeat with approp depth and offset (1/4 - 1/32 e.g.) sheeesh! That sounds really WILD! Thanks for the tip!

Only been getting excited about FM somewhat recently and I’m sure you’re right! I need to dive into it much more. Also been trying out some stuff by Fors.fm. Pax to the max!

All you need is Operator. I think it was Robert Henke's most amazing gift to the world with Live. If you have the time, you can make any sound in the world and beyond with FM. pax
