This is crazy troublesome model. Feet and hands are geografted, and the hands uses its own rig. This is because the character only has 4 fingers, and all attempts to wrap it has failed, pretty much. The head is also an external prop with it's own expression morphs and rig.
To wear the gloves, you'll have to select the hand prop before loading the glove, or funny things will happen.
Let me know if there are any errors. This one took close to 9 hours, so I might have missed something from being too tired.

Ah! so it was JCthornton's model. The head looks similar but not exactly the same, so I wasn't sure. Great work on the geographing!

Ah just saw your reply, and yeah like VR ANIME TED said, I also would love to see how its done. I had created Daz Characters 10 years ago for V4 and such, but So would like to update them to fit G8/8.1
