So, postage is expensive. The cost of shipping a magazine out (just within the states) has increased by 70% since we started print subscriptions in Fall 2020. This is probably why it has taken this long to roll this benefit out, shipping with tracking is generally twice as expensive as shipping without it.
This is something that has been asked for a lot, and that is print order tracking! Too many magazines get lost by the post office, mostly because we have to do the cheapest possible first-class shipping options in order to keep the cost of magazine subscriptions down.
Since we already have a sort of higher-level print option, where you receive an extra bag to keep your issues of the magazine pristine, we decided to add more benefits there. If you subscribe at the 15-dollar tier, that will come with order tracking from now on.

I personally hate having to do the grey bags over the clear but we were seeing way to many lost and damaged magazines. I owe you a box, I can try to get you the bags in the box!

I've only recently signed on. I kept putting it off for some unknown reason. 😁 Now I suppose I better upgrade as I will take print over electronic any day. Especially when it's such a great read. I only wish I could order every back issue possible, (disability budget doesn't allow such treats. 😢) I don't NEED a tracking feature, but I definitely appreciate and use it when offered. Keep up the good work!

Had the exact same thought re: the grey bags - guess it pays to check in on the membership info/tiers every once in a while! Happy to jump tiers for that alone as well.

What? I've been lamenting that you've switched over to those grey mailer bags. There was a higher level tier that got me a 2mm bag? I'm in for that alone. The tracking is a bonus. Now if only I could get protective bags for all those previous issues... lol
