For reasons that get explained in this podcast this has arrived a touch late, but you may want to now retrospectively cherish the time it didn't exist.
I said I was worried about it - I was right to be.
These are (most of) the straggler songs from last weeks Cabin Fever run, where members of the cult submitted requests for songs for me to have a crack at on the autoharp. The baffling volume of requests meant I had a backlog, so I promised to do a one-off podcast where I cleared the backlog. That's what this is.
It might be the worst podcast I've ever recorded, but if we listen in the spirit of that it'll kill 25 mins for you. Or rob you of 25 mins. Whichever way you wish to look at it.

You’re nearly the same age as me. How can you not know She Sells Sanctuary? I would refuse to believe it, but having heard your version… But I reckon you’d know it if you heard it. Part of the chorus of Brown Eyed Girl often reminds me of Science Fiction Double Feature, and the similarity came through again in your version. Please could you do an analysis of that when you’ve got a spare moment.

I've such a risky music taste, t'was a risk to ask for, and I'm so happy that you got around to it. I'm still learning guitar, so I truly do commend the efforts of singing such a song, and playing an instrument. He's gallavanting around in a straw hat in the music video, and there's a lot to say for his band backing him up to handle vocals on his own. Additionally, I think the gallavanting and the straw hat would be fair enough, if we were tasking you to lip sync.. Loved it, Mate.
