But still I figured this part of the new episode works pretty well on its own so enjoy while I finish off the rest of it.

Outstanding work. A blend of the Lovecraftian with one of the most accurate descriptions of "Britishness" I've heard in a long time. Did you read Stephen King's Crouch End? This gave me a similar vibe. And funnily enough, I've lived both in Crouch End and a newbuild estate lol.
