Production Update 9/21/24

Writing Update:
So, as you may or may not know, I've been doing a TON of edits to get everything in line with just how I write now and trying to fix the slow pace of the beginning of the game. This is my attempt at that! I'm already up to day 14 (on some routes) and I think I've done an okay job at making things a bit easier! For this update I would -really- appreciate any notes or comments about things that you think either works or doesn't work. Lines you think you are missing or anything like that. Please refrain from generalist statements like "its not as good anymore!" as that doesn't help me!
It's been a lot of work, and I'm almost done rereading all of it so even -I- can have a better grasp of everything that's going on, hah! Next month I will release the rest of the edits as I finish them, but most of them will be in here, so let me know how you think they are!
Also please excuse me if there are a lot of grammatical errors, I've been working as fast as I can, heh, but be sure to point em out!
Art update:
So, along with editing the script, I've been editing the positions of people in conversations, and where certain characters stand. I couldn't STAND how ugly some of the early conversations looked with 3-4 people on screen, but it's MUCH cleaner now! If you see any sprite issues or transition issues please let me know!
New art has been slow, been kinda in a bit of a rut with drawin, so have some other stuff I had on the back burner for a while! I've been wanting to add a "phone" sprite so it's a bit clearer/nicer when Tucker texts people! I thought maybe having a little holo-projection of whoever is talking could be fun too, but it might also be a lot if -every- character gets Tucker's number, hah!
Having their own unique frames for when they talk as well would be lovely, it's something I've also had on the back burner for a while now.
Patreon Update:
So, I've personally been worried about patreon's policies and such for awhile now, just watching to see how things go. At current time there will be no changes to how this patreon is run and how I put my content here, although, if things get worse, I will concede and only post the SFW edit of RYT here. This DOES NOT change how RYT is being written or distributed, I just want to make sure I can keep this all going, and I really need y'all and this website to make that happen.
As a backup however, I -will- be opening a Subscribe star that will host the SAME content and just be used in case of an emergency or in case I have to change patreon to sfw content. ONCE AGAIN, this will not change how ryt is being written and hopefully I will be able to post here forever. That being said, I will make a public announcement when the subscribestar account opens, which will feature two more Excecutive slots for those who want icons/to support me, so keep an -eye- out. I am hoping to post here as is with no changes, I just want to be prepared and want to prepare you if anything changes here very quickly!

Hey, jus wanted to point out near the end of day 8, the music stops playing and half way through day 9 i think it was, continues to not play. Im considering waiting for next update or a bug fix. Thid is occuring on the android version. Gonna check if the mac version works properly.

The patreon becoming sfw wont remove the tiers or their benefits, and I'll try to make sure everyone can still access the content no matter where you support me. But, if you want to move to more easily access the content elsewhere, I will inform you yes.

I have a question: Will we, the 'Executive Tier,' be informed in advance if the worst-case scenario occurs, so that we can maintain our status? Or will it simply be a case of 'the fastest one wins'? Because I would like to continue supporting you in this Tier.
