Hi Jan, excellent observation. As I go sometimes things are more of a "trial and error" process in my mind, you are right though, it would be slightly lighter and more neutral. I will most likely work through everything at least one more time before it's done, so expect some changes to keep happening.
Why have you done the mid water so blue if the sky is overcast? What blue is it reflecting? Love watching this "emerge". Learning to "respond" to the painting. Thank you Michael.
