In a daze, I found myself dreaming.
I had returned to my former life on Earth. Towering skyscrapers lined the skyline, wide concrete streets stretched out endlessly, and cars moved in an unending flow. It was the same modern city—the bustling metropolis I once called home.
But this time, I wasn’t just a lonely otaku. I was a winner in life—I had a car, a house, and even a beautiful wife named Konan.
“Drive safe, honey.”
Before I left, Konan, with her long lavender hair, kissed me softly on the cheek. “The kids and I will be waiting for you at home.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be back as soon as I’m done with work.”
I hugged her gently and then crouched down to kiss her round, pregnant belly before heading toward the elevator.
But just as I stepped out of the elevator and walked toward the exit, two familiar figures appeared in front of me, blocking my path.
“Sister? Shizune?”
I froze in shock. “What... what are you two doing here?”
“We're here to collect a debt from you, scumbag!”
“You knocked up Tsunade-sensei and abandoned her, leaving her to die in despair on the operating table. Are you ready to face your judgment?”
Kurenai and Shizune glared at me with cold, murderous intent, each pulling out a machete from behind their backs.
“No, it’s not like that!”
I panicked, pleading loudly, “Let me explain!”
“Enough talk. Prepare to die!”
They both advanced on me with their blades raised, aiming for my shoulders. I tried to dodge in a frenzy, but my foot got caught on the stairs behind me, and I tumbled down, scrambling toward the door.
Just then, I felt a sharp pain in my chest. A fruit knife had been thrust into me from the front, piercing my heart.
“You... Yui-senpai?”
I stared blankly at the tall girl before me, feeling my body slowly collapse.
“Hiroto-kun, do you remember this knife?”
Yui looked down at me, her narrow eyes cold and emotionless. “You gave this to me as a gift at the university ceremony. Now, I’m returning it to you.”
My vision blurred, and my consciousness began to fade. In the background, I could hear the soundtrack from School Days—the death scene of the protagonist. How ironic.
But oddly enough, I wasn’t thinking about my sinful past. Instead, I was fixated on something Yui had just said... "Gift"? Isn’t it you who gave me something?

Suddenly, I realized what was happening, and in that moment, I jolted awake.
The sound of rain tapping against the window made me shake my head to clear my thoughts. I looked around and sighed in relief. “This is… Konan’s house? So it was all a dream? What a nightmare, in every possible sense.”

Konan walked in, wearing casual clothes, her voice as soft as ever. “I thought you’d sleep longer after last night…”

My face turned beet red in an instant. “I’ll take responsibility!”
Last night… I had gotten carried away, unable to control myself with Konan. We had… done things.
Even though I didn’t have the necessary equipment, and being in a little girl’s body didn’t allow me to fully enjoy the experience, Konan was still a real, innocent girl. And as the one in control, seeing her pant and beg under my teasing had given me a strange sense of accomplishment.
But now that the night of excitement was over, guilt and shame washed over me. I had completely taken advantage of her, and I felt responsible for what had happened.
“Take responsibility?”
Konan blinked in surprise before bursting into a light laugh. “You’re so serious, Hiroto-chan. But that should be my line, don’t you think? Come on, let’s have breakfast.”

I quickly dressed and followed her to the kitchen.
The village was poor, so breakfast was simple—two pieces of hard bread and a bowl of vegetable soup.
Even though it was plain, I wasn’t picky. I quickly devoured the bread and sipped on the soup.
Konan, who had been watching me the entire time, chuckled. “Hiroto-chan, you really eat like a boy. So fast!”
I froze for a second and then turned away, deciding it was time to confess. “Actually, Konan-nee, I am a boy. Due to some… special circumstances, I ended up like this. But don’t worry! I’ll take responsibility for everything I’ve done to you!”
“Mhm, if you say so. Let’s just say Hiroto-kun is a boy, alright?”

Konan just smiled softly. “Boy or girl, it doesn’t matter to me. What I like is Hiroto.”
“H-How could it not matter?! This is a huge deal! It’s about orientation, about opening the door to a whole new world! Ugh, forget it. As long as you know that I’m a boy, that’s good enough. Oh, and there are a few important things I need to tell you.”
