"I appreciate your concern, senpai," I replied, taking a deep breath. "But I have my reasons for being here." Without waiting for a response, I dashed toward the opposing Sand ninja.
"Wait, you…!" The man seemed shocked by my impulsiveness.
Did he not realize that there were twenty-odd Sand ninja ahead? Even someone of his caliber would struggle if surrounded.
No! I can’t let this kid die in front of me! He looks only a couple of years older than my daughter. Such a promising life shouldn’t end so easily!
