Thank you again mate! I played around with my bass tracks and suspect it was just clashing frequencies as you mentioned but I couldn’t quite manage to cut them out so switched to a clean sub for the section to tidy up. And will be looking into music for tv and film, watched your video on it, will just get a couple more in the library then give it a bash! Thanks again, you’re a legend

all the other tracks I've sent so fast have been recorded on a lyra akg which might not be perfect but it has enough to be useable

it does good enough for midwest emo. for all the other genres like Hyperpop etc I have a different mic anyway. that 1 just didn't work for screams that's why I was using this mic

Loop your track whilst flicking through the one shots until you find something that clicks!

I’d still recommend some different mics, looks for large diaphragm condensers, can get a decent one for around $200 and believe me you use that with one of my stock vocal preset racks you’ll never look back

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I guess I should have specified minor mixdowns! I think I changed the version from 5 to 6 after submitting as well. Will definitely finish up and resend this week 👍

I since then bought a new mic. a sm58 next month I'll send in a new track instrumental wasn't by me sadly :( was mainly abt the vocals kinda sounding ok) if U want to check it out the song with mcdonalds in the coverart is that mic without much eq/filtering but the sm58 I have now works sm better ongg
