Short Pause
🕑 Added 2021-06-28 10:24:17 +0000 UTCProgress on Proxima stalled this month, I also got distracted by E3 and then playing various games. As a result, I didn't do enough work to justify pledges so the Patreon will be paused until next month when we'll resume. If you've never been through a pause before, it's a simple process which doesn't require any action on your end. I'll put the Patreon into the Per Video mode until the charging period for this month is over, then I'll swap it back to Per Month mode, skipping a month.
Naturally there'll be no blog post this month either. When I return it's likely I'll move over to Project Betelgeuse. Proxima isn't dead but it needs more consideration about which direction to take it. This uncertainty cost time which I think would be better spent on Betelgeuse instead. As always I have no idea how this experiment is going to turn out but I hope you'll join me again next month. Thanks for the support and apologies for any disappointment.

My monthly donation is accounted for in my monthly budget so I'll be giving you a double pledge when you unpause, because I want to support you, even through months where you might feel as if you're not giving much.
Is there some kind of "donate by volition" mode? I'm fine with donating you even if you decide to take some rest and the streams could be quite enough as a symbolic reason to take the money.
I'm tempted to double my pledge for the first unpause month, but I'll respect your decision. Hope you enjoyed the break!

Always happy to support whatever you're doing and the streams themselves have been incredibly fun, but thanks for the transparency. Good luck with the start of Betelgeuse!

Appreciate the post and effort, I cant speak for anyone else but I'm just glad to support you regardless of how much content you produce, as you always deliver with quality over quantity. Stay safe friend.

Apparently Patreon has streamlined this process since I last did it, there's a dedicated pause button now so I don't have to swap over to Per Video mode. Pledges will resume on August 1st.
