Week 2
🕑 Added 2017-05-28 18:04:00 +0000 UTC I wanted to work on this grand idea, but it seems too embarrassing to post now.But I already poured a bit of work into it, so at least you can see some progress.
This art was inspired by FGO USA's "Master Recruitment Campaign", and I wanted to say "Ciel is already the perfect candidate for it", and I wanted to do that with an art to support it.
I really want to emulate Takeuchi's art style, but it goes against everything I previously learned in drawing, so I'm struggling with it.
I decided to color Ciel first to see if I'm gonna like it.
I kinda do. But I'm demotivated to work on it now, for personal reasons.
I wanted the main light source to shine in front of her so I can practice dramatic lighting. With a dark background, it makes the colors pop out immediately. I have so many plans for it.
As you can see , it's really slow. I pretty much gave up on it now.
I've been working on it on and off, and I think I'll stop working on it until I'm motivated to pick it up again.
