Great list, cool journey you've developed from younger days. I'm a little less into metal/hardcore music besides Metallica which all boys of an age listened to, probably since I got into hip hop earlier in college late '90s. Most surprising inclusion was Third Eye Blind, man I was into them when their hit album was released but haven't listened in maybe 20 years. Need to revisit that. When the lead singer Jenkins led into Semi-Charmed Life at the concert I went to while it was #1 on the Alt charts at least, he just said "You all are a bunch of sick fucks for making this a hit".

J. Cole just dropped a new single on his blog called cLOUDS. It’s fire. Hoping for a Cole album review today, he’s due for another one

Hey bob I think you would really love tetsuo and youth by Lupe fiasco it has amazing lyrics which I know you love. Please consider reacting to it

Samuel C

Maybe you could do a version of this where you talk about some of your favorite album covers, I’d love to see what you pick and it wouldn’t get blocked by YouTube

Any list containing both Barter 6 and Blood Mountain is a damn good list.

peter

Yeah that is true

Donat Strgacic

i dont mean to question tastes, but you really think YEAT 2093 is better than albums like MBDTF, The college dropout, late registration, The life of Pablo, graduation?

peter

understandable because he is my favorite artist but he does not have my favorite album which is man on the moon

Jeff P.

Just seeing the catalogs you chose for your list, i would imagine you would enjoy them.

Bob_the_Poppop

No Kanye. He makes some great music, but I almost never have the desire to sit with an entire album of his. I bump a few songs and then move on

Bob_the_Poppop

Never really explored their albums, just new their singles

Bob_the_Poppop

Crazy description, I'll give it a listen 👍

Cartier

Thanks for all the content Bob!

I respect the opinion of an avoid Alice in Chains enjoyer. Especially one that recognizes the supremacy of Jar of Flies.

Hi Bob, I usually don’t suggest music but I think I have a very special suggestion for you. I don’t think you should necessary make a reaction to this album (unless you want to try something very different), because there’s no lyrics to analyze and it’s more about how the music itself make you feel, but you should definitely give it a listen. The Album is called IRA by Iosonouncane: it is an underground masterpiece that combines so many genres (experimental, dark ambient, industrial, post-rock, tribal, etc.) and it combines different languages that create a “new” language. This project is a very intense and dark musical experience that is also a strong statement against the music industry and the modern standards. What you’ll hear is something visceral, monolithic, dark, something that will make you feel some type of way, regardless. Also, I suggest this project to anyone who’s open minded and wants to discover something very unique and different. Have a good one, everyone!
