Third and last batch of beta testers!
🕑 Added 2023-10-13 18:12:06 +0000 UTCPhew, there's keyboard keys flying everywhere but we've good a solid base now! Tons of things we want to do, but we feel like we're ready to open the gates for all Patrons. We sent invites to (hopefully the last) batch of people willing to try Voxta. Here's what happened since last time:
- A whole new reactive user interface. It looks better, it's easier to use, and it'll be much easier to maintain. You can switch services and models directly in the chat.
- A new presets system, with some nice built-in options and you can create your own.
- A new text to speech service was added, Piper. It's still an experimental integration, but it works and makes a fully free and locally hosted option (Vosk + Oob + Piper).
- When chatting in Voxta directly, you get nice emojies showing the emotion of the AI!
- Memory books editor, so characters can share memory.
- Tons of improvements and fixes across the board.
Come talk to us on Discord, we need to know what you think and what you'd like to see! And if you'd like to try Voxta now, please write to us!

Today.... at least that's our secret plan!

Yep, just meant how long until I could try some version of it because I missed the beta lol. Understand final release would be quite a long way away

We'll be beta for quite a while, but if you mean when we open up to all patrons, then that should be very soon. Things are looking great for our last build, we're making sure that we iron out as many potential problems as we can and then we'll let more people in. But we'll be building Voxta and making changes to it a lot, as we add advanced memory, ability to read external data, affect the physical space... this is still a young project!

Rip Any idea on when it will leave beta then?
