You scream, it screams, you scream, it screams. This goes on for a while until compelled to break the stalemate you pull the curtains close to you to hide your....wait...Are you naked? Should you be wearing clothes? It doesn't matter, you pull on the curtains...athough a little too enthusiastically.......hmmmmm.....You're coming swiftly to the conclusion that whomever does the DIY and decorating around here is not the best at it.
The screaming stops. On both sides.
A crumpled heap on the floor you quickly compose yourself wrapping the curtain around you like a shroud just incase you ARE naked.
Jumping up, you study the bug worm... thing, feeling dumb, you have a thought that maybe you can communicate with it? It's worth trying. It looks deeply traumatised.
"H...Hello?" You squeak out, not sure why you sound so nervous and scared.
The worm thing glares at you.
"Why ya be screamin' like a Trog just had his nutsack ravenously devoured by a swarm of floogle? Are ya alright? Not so well in the ''ed? Bit of a nutcase are ya? What's with the mysterious cloak gettup. Ya here ta rob me? Good luck, mate, good luck. I ain't got no pockets, nuffin on me, nuffin ta steal. Been stuck in this 'ere bottle for what feels like forever, Do your worst. Smoosh me if ya wanna. It'll be better than bein stuck in there 'ere shite'ole much longer. W'at's your problem. mate? "
You stare gobsmacked. This thing can talk???...and more importantly it's thowing verbal diarrhoea at you. You shrug defensively. What IS your problem? Perhaps it's worth confessin some of your newly found issues, maybe the thing can help now that you've opened a ...semi constructive dialogue.
What should you do?
