I realise I havent really portrayed what I was trying to do effectively enough here. She was expecting Ace to be messy so from the door was just trying to effectively mortify him commenting on the smell without actually knowing the contents of his diaper. So he caught her out by not having actually pooped himself just yet
Then what did Cleo smell if it wasn't Ace?
