Ah I’m sure we’re all wired a bit differently than most, lol :P Saffy does seem to be taking this quite well though. Might just be shock and confusion. She doesn’t seem to remember anything.

The "funny" part for me is how well Saffy is taking the situation.

Yes PTSD has the same affect on the brain as a traumatic brain injury so yes her brain is different. I feel very sad for Saffy and I hope her friends help her work things out.
I also came to the similar conclusion, remember when she was doing some colouring? That necklace we saw from its brief flashback might be a shock collar. Add a pinch of beating the crap out of ya until you do wonders, and you end up with a combination of a stolen childhood + "already established" PTSD + Submissive subconscious... But that's just a theory... a Comic Theory ;D

My guess the brainwaves are a result of whatever experiments were done on her as a kid.
