On the Gods and the World - Sallust (4th c. AD Hellenic Paganism)
🕑 Added 2023-09-21 23:43:00 +0000 UTCI've been a bit under the weather lately, but I've managed to down enough cold medicine to bring you a reading of "On the Gods and the World" by Sallust, a work of pagan theology from Late Antiquity in the vein of Iamblichus (translated by the one and only Thomas Taylor). Enjoy!

I am doing research on the role of the Gods in the Corpus Hermeticum. In the Kore Kosmou there is a reference to what each one does, although it seems to have more to do with what the celestial body does. However this audio has given me clues as to how these forces act in the different spheres of creation. And how I can relate to them to understand their role in the life of Man. The last audios about the gods have come as a ring to my finger. Thankyou Dan Get Well.
