I am an individual, so I am limited in the scope of my activities. I want many people to "enjoy my work," but it is difficult to do everything. I may also operate one overseas support site in the next year or so.

It's possible because we are talking about freezing your account and stripping you of monetization if you don't delete your Twitter image. But don't worry. I closed my account myself, so I don't need to be told anything else.

The heck?!?! Totally dumb! Patreon will really lost one of the best hentai artist! Well, sucks to them! But for them to threaten you even on Twitter?!?! That's, I think, a lie, after all, they can't take actions on a site that is not their to begin with. So I think you can keep your magnificient drawings on Twitter, and I hope they will do nothing on it! Good luck!

Will there be an attempt to publish on boosty? I can believe his rules. It is extremely difficult to pay in Belarus, due to many EU restrictions

The subject of this article is my exclusion from patreon, one of the Western values. It is very hard for you to preach Western values to me in that place. A silly rule, I do not think. But it makes me sad. I have nothing to say about people's preferences regarding commission sites. But there is one important point: without creator-friendly commissions like skeb, the culture in which anyone in the world can easily make a request to a Japanese illustrator or cartoonist would not have been born. No late-starting commissions would have been created either. In order to protect that culture, I follow the rules.

Zeph

I dislike skeb. In the west the customer is considered the king while the creator should be considered second place. Skeb is the opposite, the people who pay lots of money have no rights, so if the creator makes a mistake, the client has wasted his money and time. Pixiv request and skima are a lot better in this regard.

Since Japan is a closed country, we do not receive much information from overseas support sites. It is helpful to hear valuable opinions. However, that can also be said for skeb, which is the opposite of patreon. They are very strict with their rules, as they are very overprotective of the rights of creators. If we disclose the price, creators will compete with each other to lower the price. That's what we are trying to avoid. It is a cozy site for creators. The only exception is for authors like me who do high and complicated commissions.

Thanks for the suggestion! It looks like gumroad and subscribestar are very reputable. I'll take my time and consider them again.

I'm relieved to know there are other support sites out there. I would be very scared if patreon was the only one.

The complaints about Patreon enforcing their rules even outside of their own site have been going on for a while. It's more noticeable if you follow politics. It's how subscribestar managed to get a niche. I wonder who's more annoying with their rules, Patreon, or Skeb.

It's sad that for many foreigners, including me, we can't use Patreon or Twitter as we want, due to the rules of those platforms, or the woke beliefs of some users, maybe gumroad or subscribestar would be a good suggestion since they are friendly to foreigners and without as many restrictions as on Patreon.

Zeph

Dont worry, foreigners also hate Patreon and their stupid rules. I recommend using "Gumroad". That platform allows any content and is foreigner friendly too.
