[Notice] Revision of Pixiv Terms of Use and Use of Support Sites
🕑 Added 2022-11-30 14:42:02 +0000 UTCPixiv management has announced the details of the revision of the terms of use.
After checking the terms and conditions, I found that I am also affected.
It will not be prohibited to present works. It will be treated as a product that requires modification.
Perhaps censorship of text, etc. is possible.
Whether or not there will be more in-depth censorship than that has not been determined at this time.
We will continue to update the site as it is now.
FANBOX and BOOTH will restrict words that may fall under expression restrictions.
It will make the site less user-friendly as a support site in the future.
I personally recommend that you move to other support sites.
As for other support sites, I use Fantia.
Fantia: https://fantia.jp/fanclubs/5493
In addition to that, I have newly opened my own pages on Ci-en and subscribestar.
Ci-en: https://ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/7148
subscribestar: https://subscribestar.adult/kusa-yaro
As for subscribestar, I will start using it because I heard that it is a support site for overseas readers to settle easily.
We have not yet completed uploading the article because it is taking time to localize the file name, but we plan to complete it within a few days.
As for the PayPal payment that we previously mentioned, we have been informed by fantia management that it is NG, so we will stop distributing tickets. Instead, we will use online storage.
However, we do not recommend it. For overseas readers, it would be helpful if you could use subscribestar.
If you insist on using Palpal payment, please contact us at houkigusa@gmail.com.
The subscription period available is only 3 months. At the end of the term, you can continue to use the service by making another payment.
Business (All-access): 1,500 yen
First (VIP) : 3000 yen
Suite (S VIP) : 6000 yen
In addition, we have added a new plan called Suite (S VIP) from December.
We are looking forward to your support.

We do not know what restrictions there will be, as the terms are vague, and pixiv will police them at its own discretion. At the moment, we are considering measures such as not putting words such as brainwashing and hypnosis in the title. Fantia is still more tolerant of freedom of expression. It seems that they are considering measures than pixiv, which was defenseless against the pressure from the credit card companies.

Is there any restriction in Fantia? I might consider moving there if there is any restriction in Fanbox.

If you check the terms and conditions carefully, you will find that live-action and other types of images are prohibited, and that other than live-action, the restricted items must also be modified. The confusion continues because the scope of that modification is unclear. We can only hope that they will not be included in the checklist.

Its sad to see so many artists affected. I read the terms and it still seems to me that it only concerns drawings that resemble real people, not drawings of characters, but its best not to risk your account being suspended v-v
