🕑 Added 2018-08-26 18:31:35 +0000 UTC Hi everyone! You all definitely deserve an update by now. I fell into a bit of anxiety recently but have come out stronger than ever. I have never felt so inspired to create my best work and it's all thanks to your patience and understanding.I have officially made the switch from Sony Vegas to Adobe Premiere for my editing, and the switch has been a bit of a challenge. This switch will allow me to include more advanced effects more frequently, and I have been watching days worth of lessons and tutorials in order to advance my knowledge of editing. Hopefully you'll be able to notice the difference as time goes on!
Lastly, the next How it Feels video will be about our favorite Texan. The script is coming along very well, but production is predictably an enormous challenge. Engineer has so many different particles, buildings, and animations that are straight-up not part of SFM's in-game system. SFM runs on the beta version of TF2 before Engie was even able to pick up buildings, so I have to manually include and animate everything from picking up buildings to using the wrangler. I tried to attach a GIF of one of my fav animations so far... hopefully it works on Patreon.
I would love to showcase the dozens of glitches that have happened during making this engie SFM (you should already be able to see that the wrangler laser is pink for no reason - trust me I've tried everything to fix it). I will include all of them in a Behind the Scenes video on my channel after this video is done, but I might post some here on Patreon as well. Until next time!

Lazy. I want to say sorry and thank you. I recently checked over how much money I recive, and decided that I'd have to drop from your patreon. Instead of pledging 10$ a month I now pledge 2$. Thank you for this almost a year of funny memories and jokes. I will continue to support you but I can't afford to do it with as much as I did before. I never knew SFM was that outdated... Seeing as how they made Meet the Pyro in 2012 and the Engineer update was in 2010. Guess the Engie never has picked up his own buildings in their animations. Also, glad to see you're still wearing the same Engineer outfit after all these years.

My not-so-glorious solution is just to have a friend render it since this glitch seems to be specific to me for whatever reason lol. Sending a projectile file to someone else has its own host of problems unfortunately!

Oh, and you should reach out to krunkidile or uberchains for advice on that laser. They're really SFM proficient and I've seen them tinker with all sorts of material tweaks. They might know what's up with it. :P

Also, holy crap, SFM hasn't been overhauled once since it came out? Valve... I look forward to the catastrophe reel though. :D

I'm glad to hear that you're doing well! I think you know that everyone would rather you be in a good place and doing your best work than painfully grinding out content that makes you miserable.
