Sure, why not. A command to deploy these units can have the camera rapidly transition to that area as they load on. Player has choice to move camera away and focus on whatever he wants if he doesn't want to watch this pre-rendered animation.
I don't think so. Where you wanna see them beeing loaded onto the transport? Outside of the battlefield?
