🕑 Added 2024-06-24 12:25:28 +0000 UTC
I hope everyone is well.
It has been a while.
I apologize for not updating in May: 🙇♂️
I caught a weird cold during a major holiday weekend and was laid up for a week after the fever broke.
I had a feeling that if I went to the hospital I would be told I had Covid19, so I stayed home and just held on until I got better 😂.
I don't know if that triggered it or not, but I went to the hospital because the pain in my shoulder that had been there for a while did not go away even the next day, and they told me that my rotator cuff had started to calcify (see figure below).
I heard that if it gets worse, it can lead to calcific rotator cuff tendonitis.
I had heard rumors of this disease being "very painful," but I never thought I would get it. 😂.
The doctor told me not to use my shoulder, but then I wouldn't be able to draw😣.
For the time being, I have to try to live a life with as little stress on my shoulder as possible, with regular injections in the shoulder.
And I could only draw this much if I drew as much as I could without straining my shoulders 😭.
Sketches and such don't burden me because they only take a short time and I can linger and draw, but color illustrations inevitably strain my shoulders for more than a few hours, so I'm pondering how I can draw with less strain 🤔.
Maybe I should try drawing lines with a pencil brush and painting with a watercolor touch.
According to the doctor, if I'm lucky, it will get better in a month or two.
