New Sketch "Stargazer"
🕑 Added 2023-09-30 20:52:31 +0000 UTCHi everyone!
This piece is absolutely misleading as a sketch - I'd like to make the whole thing in moonlight (not too bright) and a huge nightsky, which is something that I've been itching to do for a time now.
The design of the tower was a real pain, it took me about 8-10 tries until it felt right for what I had in mind. The water will be a challenge, as it will probably be hard to strike a balance between the water surface being rather bright or dark.
We'll see though. I have probably never made a comic art piece with less actual comic art in it in terms of number of lines, but hope that the nightsky will make up for it.
Talk to you soon! As I'm on vacation now, there will be more time to draw, which will lead to having more output than usual while having my dayjob.
Best,
Simon

Don't worry it will be mystical and ethereal, not doom from space 😂😅

I already know I'm going to love this one, a starry sky and a lighthouse! :O ... as long as you paint stars and not meteors 30 mins away from crashing, of course (misleading sketch, haha) 🤣
