New Piece with partial lineart and sketch
🕑 Added 2023-10-12 12:22:48 +0000 UTCHi everyone!
This new settlement carved out of stone is something that I didn't have the courage to try out for some time. Drawing rocks is rather hard - like trees or plants, there are so many different ones, yet they still can look "wrong" pretty fast.
Now that I see the piece without actually working on it while doing this post (funny how that gives a different perspective), there will probably need to be some other large rock formations next to the village, as I'd like all of this to be a natural rock formation that has been discovered and then used as a home.
The lineart is also a bit more loose in its style this time, we'll see about that balance of having "tidy" and clear lineart vs. a bit more quirky and playful.
Have a nice rest of the week!
Best,
Simon
