Wizard's Travels: Call of the Sea

This idea originally came to me when doodling around, and as I am currently almost finished with the third book of Lord of the Rings, I remembered Legolas "feeling the call of the sea", which gave me the base idea for this piece.
At first I feared that the blue hat will not give enough color contrast to the blue sea. but it seems to work out fine with the red of his coat. Such a temperature contrast draws a lot of attention, and as there are usually a lot of details in my illustrations, there needs to be a clear focus in them, otherwise the viewer just gets lost.
Anyways, I love the thought of standing in a cool shaded forest at the sea, I have yet to experience this. Hope you like it as well!
